Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS)

Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) is a way to help students succeed in school. Blending behavior theory and effective instruction, PBIS supports all students through interventions ranging from a school-wide system to individualized plans for specific students. School-wide PBIS focuses on the development and implementation of pro-active procedures and practices used to prevent problem behaviors for all students and to improve the school climate. At Success Academy, students earn points throughout the day that they can use for incentives like the student store, recreational activities, and more.
